The Challenge
The digital dating industry relies on engagement metrics fueled by gamification. This leads to endless swiping, high churn rates, and a proliferation of fake accounts. The challenge was to build an antithesis to this model: a platform where growth metrics are secondary to match quality and user trust.
The Solution
We stripped out standard proximity-based APIs and replaced them with a proprietary Intentional Matching Engine, extensive onboarding, and multi-tier biometric identity verification. The UI/UX was designed to slow down interaction, forcing intentionality before a connection is made.
